Analog and/or digital out-of-home
Birgit

Out-of-Home advertising remains a powerful way to bring your message to a broad audience. However, more and more is possible here too, do you go for analog (traditional) or digital? Let's pit these two approaches against each other and discover which one best fits your advertising goals.
Analog (traditional)
Target Audience Reach: Effectively reach your target audience when they are on the street, in shopping centers, on public transport, on the road, etc. - virtually anywhere.
National Coverage: Traditional OOH options offer impressive nationwide coverage, allowing you to present your message to a broad audience.
Message: More consistency in the message; you can only vary slightly based on location. You also need to keep printing costs in mind here.
Costs: Budget-friendly. In terms of CPM, traditional OOH channels are often more cost-effective.
Creative Process: Takes more time, due to printing, delivery, and distribution/posting.
Purchasing: Always direct purchasing from the operator. As a result, you may have to do business with many different parties if you want to be visible widely across the Netherlands.
Digital
Target Audience Reach: Effectively reach your target audience when they are on the street, in shopping centers, on public transport, on the road, etc. - virtually anywhere. Similar to analog.
Geographical Coverage: Urban focus. Digital shelters mainly have coverage in the Randstad and major cities, as well as busy locations along major intersections. High traffic locations.
Message: Flexible. Perfect if you want to tailor your message to variables such as time of day, location, current events, and more. Here you can be highly relevant through the use of data.
Costs: The CPM is often slightly higher than the analog option.
Creative Process: Flexible. Ideal when you want to go live with your campaign quickly and flexibly.
Purchasing: Can be purchased both directly and programmatically. This allows you to switch quickly and do business with many parties at once.
The choice between traditional and digital depends on your specific goals, budget, and the desired flexibility. Traditional excels in national coverage and consistency, while digital shines in flexibility and speed. Based on your target audience and objectives, we would be happy to advise you on the best option for you. A combination is, of course, always possible as well.
